Basílico Trattoria

We arrived on time for our reservation, and the restaurant was packed. We were seated at a small table in the middle of the main restaurant hallway, which I thought was super fun and a little loco! We started with the Brie Dorrato, which we had seen in pics when picking the restaurant. Love that salty and sweet combo. For mains we had the truffle pasta with porchetta and the il fatti linguine chef’s special with shrimp mixed in a giant Parmesan wheel. Both were wonderful and servings were healthy. For desert we shared the panna cotta. Light, fruity and delicious. Guto and his team provided warm, welcoming, excellent service.

We have been to this Italian restaurant several times now, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious, my favorite is the Linguine Nero à Ericeira, and the Bacio Bourbon dessert is a must-try. The waiters are always very friendly and attentive, and I want to highlight Anna, who has been incredibly kind and helpful every time we visit. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with amazing food. Highly recommend!

First time in this charming surf town with its quaint cobbled streets. I wondered why this unassuming trattoria had a rating of 4.8 on Google...so, curious, I strolled in and ordered... The beef carpaccio is to die for with an olive paste & parmesan. The pizza was remarkably crisp with completely fresh ingredients (I asked for guanciale on my diavolo) - nothing short of majestic! The cannoli was, without doubt, one of the best I have tried. Having travelled Italy extensively, that is a serious compliment. There is not a huge wine list but what they have is well selected and reasonable in price. The service from Raoul was hearty. 3 cheers for the chef, who is in fact from Sao Paolo...terrific, I salute you. I implore you to go. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic spot! I was surprised to hear the restaurant only recently opened. The owner, Antonio (sorry if I forgot your name!), served us and gave us a very warm and welcoming experience and service. My fiancé had risotto and I had the linguini nero which really stole the show. I also asked for a flavorful and not-so-sweet red wine, and I was pleased with the choice selected for me. Definitely recommend. The prices are fair, the food is good, and the service and vibe is excellent.

MUST TRY amazing italian in Ericeira!! Flavor profiles were excellent. Walked in for lunch at 12:30, ordered the focaccia - deliciously savory without being too heavy. Arancini were fried perfectly!! Yummy mushroom filling and truffle mayo had great flavor without being too overpowering. For entrees, we ordered the linguine with shrimp and the duck rice. Linguine was so creamy, my boyfriend absolutely loved it. The duck rice was AMAZING - the best combination of flavors, the egg was perfectly fried and added just the right amount of richness to the savory dish, snap peas were a great touch as well. Antonio, the owner, provided amazing service and was very kind! Really loved this place and would dine there again in a heartbeat.
